ETF Signal uses two primary categories of third-party data:
- ETF constituent holdings and weights: downloadable SPDR holdings spreadsheets provided through State Street Global Advisors (SSGA), including the holdings as-of date when available.
- Historical market prices and trading volumes: data accessed programmatically through the
yfinancePython library (Yahoo Finance data access).
The V36 model uses an approximately six-month daily historical window. Data feeds may differ in update timing. The holdings date and market-data session date can be different from the run timestamp, particularly during manual testing or delayed source updates.
A successful analysis does not establish that every possible constituent had valid data. Where available, the site should disclose issues with missing or insufficient constituent history and show analyzed weight coverage.
